Ambica Coaching Institute was established by Late Shri J.G.Thakur Project Coordinator of Ambica Shiksha Samaj Kalyan Samiti, Bhopal(MP)(Reg. No. MP/4715/97 Dated 06/05/1997)
The goal of setting of this Coaching was to enable those students who are not in a financial position to fight competitive examination on their own capacity. We forgetted those talented students who were having the capability but were not had a good platform to fulfill their dreams. The cities like Badwani there are thousands of intelligent, poor guys, whom financial, as well as family background doesn't permit them to pay such a huge and heavy amount to provided coaching on very normal charges for Pre Engineering Test (PET) PMT (Pre Medical Test) etc. Same thing was applicable in Bhopal city also.
For fulfilling the goal NGO decided to establish separate organization only for running the coaching and mid of June 2003 the Institute got to be established at Jahangirabad Bhopal. Institute is managing all the finance activities by their own means through cash manner, not from Cheque Bank. All the societies member arranged and arranging separate cash funding for the expenditure of this coaching Institute. In the year 2003 04, Total 28 students were coached and 4 students got selected in PET and 3 in PMT. The Response was enthusiastically overwhelming that in limited resources, the result was very inspiriting. In year 2004 05 we started LET means local entrance test, and all the selected 31 student started their coaching in highly effective concentration. 18 student got selected, among them 7 were girl and 11 were
boy; So the figure comes out was 8 OBC, 2 SC, 3 ST. Next year in 2005 06 this figure rises means 1 student got selected in IIT kanpur, 9 Girl selected among them 4 were OBC and 1 Was ST. Among 12 boys; 3 were SC, 5 were ST and 1 was from minority community. Overall we selected 50 students for coaching and total 21 were selected. In current year it is certain that we shall cross 30 numbers very easily.
We prefer to SC/ST/OBCs and minority candidates to be coached. We charges very nominal amount from those students who are able to give money. Societies is thinking that due to financial crisis coaching institute is not in a position to expand it's area or strength to get admitted more students. It is clear that popularity of our coaching Institutes among youth is immense and wide and it is certain that if we would be selected by Govt. to give assistance to reserve student. It would be difficult to mange on this level that everybody would like to be admitted in it and seats shall be limited up to 600 students. Definitely for limited seats we will have to arrange entrance test to get admitted in our coaching institute. There are so many intellectuals are in our coaching institute, who are master/accomplish in their subjects and very good
tutor. They are teaching not as a professional but doing their job with full dedication and devotion. And really it is a great and fortunate thing
associated with coaching institute that good fellow is with us to serve the societies as a mission |
